Customs Temporarily Closes Terminal 4 Over Operational Delays – Infobae | 26/06/25

On June 25 at 20:00, Argentina’s General Directorate of Customs (DGA) temporarily shut Terminal 4 at Buenos Aires port due to "unjustified delays" and cost overrun issues attributed to the terminal operator, which breached a previously signed agreement. Despite the closure, the DGA allowed exceptions for sensitive cargo (perishables, medicine, explosives), scheduled vessels, and pre-booked slots to limit logistical disruptions. The decision alarmed freight forwarders, importers, and logistics operators, who are asking for stronger oversight, greater digitalization, and transparency in concessioned terminals. Link
