Santa Fe Unveils Port Entry Circuit to Organize Heavy Traffic and Improve Port Logistics – Argenports | 11/12/25

The province of Santa Fe has launched the Port Entry Circuit (CIP), a planned system to organise truck flows to port terminals from Timbúes to Arroyo Seco, aiming to reduce congestion on roads and access points, set scheduled entry windows and digitally monitor heavy vehicles to prevent bottlenecks and delays. The programme is supported by strategic road works, including the expansion of the Santa Fe–Rosario highway and improvements to rural access roads, feeders and roundabouts to better connect the productive hinterland with the ports. This long-term logistics policy seeks to cut operational costs, reduce idle time at terminals and lessen the urban and environmental impact of heavy traffic, while providing greater predictability for exporters, carriers and operators, consolidating a more efficient and competitive port system in preparation for upcoming harvests and Argentina’s foreign trade.
