In December, Quequén Port confirmed a steady and efficient operation, with over **185,000 tonnes of barley loaded on vessels that arrive and depart fully loaded, eliminating the need to complete cargo at other ports and enhancing export logistics. Key shipments included the MYKONOS with 66,000 t to Saudi Arabia, AMIS CHAMPION with 53,000 t to Qatar, and LILA SHANGHAI with 66,000 t also bound for Saudi Arabia, demonstrating the port’s ability to handle large-volume cargoes in a single call. This pattern reinforces Quequén’s strategic role in Argentina’s export system, delivering greater logistical efficiency, reduced operating costs, improved voyage times and predictability for exporters and shipping lines, and boosting competitiveness in international markets.
