The company Servicios Portuarios S.A. (SPSA) announced a USD 70 million investment in the Port of Rosario, aimed at expanding and modernizing its operational and logistical capacity, with a particular focus on dry bulk and general cargo. The project includes the construction of new storage areas, extension of quays, handling equipment and improvements to internal rail and road infrastructure, which will enable higher operational throughput, shorter turnaround times and the ability to handle increased export and import volumes. The initiative will be executed in phases and is expected to strengthen the competitive position of the Port of Rosario as a key hub within the Paraguay–Paraná waterway, delivering logistical benefits for producers, exporters and regional operators.
