The Argentine government has removed the requirement for duplicate sanitary and quality certification for imports of products that already hold valid external certifications, streamlining entry conditions and cutting administrative barriers that previously required repetitive local authorizations. The reform aims to speed up import procedures, lower logistical and operational costs for importers, expand product availability in the domestic market and boost competitiveness in foreign trade by accepting international standards without duplicating inspections when products have been evaluated and approved by equivalent foreign authorities.
