Escobar Maritime Terminal Moves Forward with Momentum – Todo Logística | 23/06/25

Six months after its announcement, the Escobar Maritime Terminal (TME) megaproject is progressing with private funding to build two docks on the Paraná de las Palmas River: a main dock of 375 m (17 m depth at high tide, 12 m at low tide) and a secondary 240 m dock, both expandable. International construction firms and port operators have submitted proposals, with the concessionaire selection process set to begin in late July. Plans include connecting the docks via rail (in talks with ADIF) and an 18 km highway to the Pan-American, along with LNG bunkering services and logistics solutions for Vaca Muerta and commodities such as lithium. The project is valued at over US$600 million and expected to create more than 3,000 direct jobs. Link
