Supplier delivery times dropped to their lowest in two years — only 6.6% of companies reported increasing delays — indicating a recovery in supply-chain fluidity and greater stability for inventory replenishment. The share of firms reporting higher stock levels also rose, pointing to an inventory rebuild after months of caution. However, this logistical improvement unfolds amid declining industrial activity: 40.3% of firms saw a drop in production from the previous quarter, while just 21.3% recorded increases; domestic sales fell for 47.4% of companies and exports likewise showed a majority of declines. Capacity utilization stood at 57.9%, and 95.2% of companies forecast that optimal utilization will only be reached in 2026 or later. The result is a landscape of reduced freight demand, with improved internal logistics efficiency but overall low external momentum. Link to Article
